Fans and their wires

The connection wire on a fan that came with my case seems too large to fit into any of the system fan headers. Its got 4 pins but they are more spread out, than for example, the stock cpu coolers one, which seems to be the only sort of fan connector, this mobo supports.

Does it fit one of the cables coming from the power supply?

If it does, then it uses a Molex connector. The only issue with using a fan like that is if you are using it on the CPU heatsink, where the motherboard expects to see a fan speed reading on the CPU fan terminal. The fan may have a 3-pin connector with one yellow wire connected to it, and that yellow wire supplies the fan speed reading.

Ahhhhh, yes! It looks like it's meant to connect to a molex. Issue is though that it doesn't seem to fit in there, quite right, it goes in a little bit and then gets stuck!

Thanks so much. I have connected the black molex looking things from my PSU to the white molex looking things that are in my case (2 total) ( 3 black molex from PSU spare) is that good :)? Thanks for the help, thus far.

Is this correct? (Note: The white molex I have, has it's wires on the sides, and pins at the back, which the black molex slides on to)
