Ask password to delete files on External Drive

Hi,

Is there any portable software that will ask for password if somebody tries to delete from external drive?

Only delete? Do you want to allow them to add new files, read all files, and modify existing files?

Or do you want to make the drive, or a part of it, read-only to other users?

I just want to prevent users to delete and modify. They should be able to add files to the drive. I want changes to be applied to some folders.
