Installed IceQ ATI Radeon HD 5670 in HP DX2400 with 500W pawer supply and Intel Q9650 CPU and it goes beep, beep, then an extended beep; and then it repeats. Remove IceQ ATI Radeon HD 5670 and PC starts fine. Do I need Bios update? PC BIOS at least 5 years old. Do I need to do an RMA on the card? Don't have another PC to try it in except dell optiplex tower 755 with an intentionally modified motherboard to prohibit use of standard cards and electric sockets. I suppose I could get out my welder and cut off about 1/3 of the cpu heat sink so I could install the card, plus break off two of the usb or serial connectors that dell puts right beside and under the PCI-E port. Dell really is proprietary - intentionally. This way you have to buy a POS dell ati radeon hd5670 with the guts on the opposite side of the card. But using a hammer and/or a welding torch on a dell is just "Standard Procedure"

I would try a BIOS update, your dell I assume has the motherboard on the "wrong" side. They do that proprietary stuff cause it can be cheaper and forces people to buy Dell hardware

did you go into the BIOS and make sure it sees or points to the card or the slot............... vs the onboard graphics it's currently pointing to?
