What's better gtx 780 sli or titan black

Solution
I would go with 2xGTX 780 :)
But its almost the same cuz in both cases u get:
6GB Graphics memory
10MHz diffrence in core clock(Titan Black beats there cuz it has boost)
Both have 384bit interface
and again small difference in Memory Transfer Speed
The Titans are way overpriced as gaming cards. They are really meant to be COMPUTE cards.

A single, good GTX780 like an EVGA SC version can often match a Titan for gaming performance and the Black version is only about 5% faster than a regular Titan.

I'd recommend either 2xGTX780.

Benchmark: http://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/EVGA/GTX_780_SC_ACX_Cooler/26.html

Notice that the EVGA 780 actually beats a stock Titan. For SLI it will vary depending on the game (and your CPU) but you can expect roughly 75% performance increase over a single GTX780 for modern games though it will vary significantly and some will give NO benefit.

*In some games, assigning the 2nd card for PHYSX solely and not running SLI can give better performance so you need to experiment.

I personally wouldn't. I would go for the r9 290 Tri X by Sapphire, its AMD, gets the same frames and is £500 cheaper. Also motherboards with crossfire are easy to find.

??
You are completely incorrect:
1) 2xGTX780 in SLI will give up to 80% better performance over a single Titan Black, but in games that don't support SLI the Titan Black will win so the performance is COMPLETELY DIFFERENT.

2) You don't have 6GB usable in both situations. In SLI it's cloned so you only have 3GB usable (2xGTX780 3GB) but that's more than enough.

Other:
I don't recommend AMD. The high-end cards tend to run louder, NVidia has better multi-GPU drivers overall, supports GPU PHYSX, Shadowplay for recording/streaming, TXAA, and G-Sync for the new monitors such as the Asus Swift.

I havent said THEY HAVE THE SAME PERFORMANCE ...actually i havent mentioned anything about their performance,I just pointed their specs(compared if I have to be exact) and expressed my OWN opinion on what I would get in that case :)
And ALMOST ALL(not ALL but ALMOST) new games support SLI so you wont experience any problems IMO !

Enjoy your cards dude !
