Hi everyone, i have seen this question asked, but I haven't had much luck trying out the solutions that worked for them, so i decided to see if anyone could help me out before RMAing the card.

The Problem: When ever i run any graphically demanding game, my computer black screens and all my fans seem to run at 100%. I don't know for sure its the graphics card but when i switch back to my Sapphire HD7970 OC W Boost 3gb the problem goes away. Do you guys have any idea how i could fix this or should i just RMA the card?

My Rig:
CPU: 4770k
MOBO: Asus z87 - Pro
PSU: EVGA Supernova 850W G2
CPU Cooler: Silver Arrow Extreme
Case: Corsair 300R
Fans: 3 Corsair AF-140s, 4 SP-120s

Keyboard/Mouse
Razer Anansi
Razer Naga Epic

Accessories:
NZXT Hue
NZXT Sentry 3
Rosewill Multicard Reader / USB panel

I have tried switching the way the card is installed (PCIE Slots & The Connectors from the PSU)

It is currently plugged in via 2 separate 6+2 cables with the litle 1 + 2 connector attached to them making them 8 + 2 i think..Sorry i am not so sure what the cables are called haha.

The 780 TI will stay at a black screen until i shut down the computer. The HD 7970 runs perfectly, sorry i should have included that. I should probably also add that this happened in multiple games, such as Watch Dogs Battlefield 4, and Star Citizen.

Have you tried doing a driver sweep and removing all your old AMD drivers and doing a fresh driver install for the GTX 780 Ti? Might be having driver conflicts if you have not removed your AMD drivers.

Make sure you also do the steps under the title "Removing AMD/ATI or Nvidia drivers from the driver store"
