So I decided to unearth some of my old dell desktops to donate to a local teacher. Using my original Windows XP install disk I was able to reformat and do a fresh install of windows no problem, the second one however froze during the installation and will now not boot. The lights on the front and back, the motherboard and disk drive are receiving power but I didn't hear the hard drive spinning. Popped in another one and moved the ram around and still not getting the thing to boot. The post lights on the back of the desktop are A B C as green and D as orange which means "other issue" apparently and says to check monitor which I am unable to view anything on.....any thoughts?
