I'm looking to build a new computer and would like to sell my old one that I built back in 2010. I bought a new gpu, ram, and cpu fan as upgrades since then. I have a lot of fans installed and its able to overclock to 4.2 ghz as well as the GPU. It's able to run BF4 on Ultra about 40-50 fps on multiplayer.

Motherboard: ASUS Sabertooth x58
CPU: Intel Core I7 950 @ 3.07
CPU Fan: Noctua 120mm & 140mm Cooler
RAM: G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3 1600
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760 Superclock w/ EVGA AC Cooler
Power Supply: Corsair HX 1000w Modular
Computer Case: Corsair 800D
HardDrive: Western Digital 640 GB 7200

Have you priced how much it cost to put together, and how much those parts or comparable parts go for right now used and new? And how good of a friend is it? I am asking these questions because a few of us had tried to help someone a while back and it turned out his "friend" was not really a friend because the guy was trying to sell his system for exactly what it costed him to build..even though it was used.

Without taking time to price everything out myself, and just going off of what I would sell it to a friend for... I would say $750 to $850 or so depending on how good of a friend it is and under the assumption that the friend will take care of it...because it would be giving the friend a great deal and myself some cash for the new...

I know that hard drives prices have dropped the past few years...well all prices have dropped. But some of those components are still worth quite a bit.
