hello,

i'm currently working out my rig, i think i'm almost there :bounce:
i'm going to be playing games @ 2560×1440 on a ~27″ monitor.

CPU - Intel Core i7-4770K 3.5 GHz
Motherboard - ASUS Z97 Pro
CPU Fan - Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO
Video Card - Sapphire Radeon R9 290X Vapor-X OC 8192MB GDDR5 (???)
RAM - Crucial Ballistix Sport 16GB
SSD - Crucial M500 240GB
HDD - Western Digital Blue 1TB
Case - CM Storm Stryker – Full Tower
Power Supply - Seasonic M12II-850
Optical Drive - Samsung 24x SATA DVD RW

do i have a chance at this game..? i've heard it's an intensely demanding game.. and isn't optimised very well to boot. And apparently multiplayer is even more demanding FramesPS wise, for some reason…
But it's on sale…. and i like sales..

in the future i might buy a second R9 290X Vapor-X OC 8192MB and crossfire it… which should then do the job.

So, is my rig up to scratch? or do you need one of those £1000 GPUs to play this….:heink:
(i'd want to be playing with high graphics,, as that's one of the main attractions to this game for me)

cheers
Rx

With that computer you will get pretty awesome FPS in ARMA III. Its a pretty powerful build. You don't even need to crossfire the card to get around 45FPS at that resolution.
