This is my setup so far. total of $581.90
CPU: AMD FX-6350 3.9GHz 6-Core
Motherboard: MSI 970A-G43 ATX AM3+
Memory: Corsair Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600
Storage: Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM
Video Card: MSI GeForce GTX 660 2GB
Case: Raidmax ATX-249B (Black) ATX Mid Tower
Power Supply: Corsair 600W ATX12V
Optical Drive: Lite-On iHAS124-14 DVD/CD Writer
Is this a good build or nah? and how can I make it better?

I like this build better. Better GPU, and can still upgrade later to a Haswell or Haswell refresh i5/i7/Xeon E3.

In a gaming build so cheap, I always recommend starting with 4GB of RAM and no disc drive. This allows you to maximize your video card choices.
