I havent yet built my computer as I'm still waiting for the parts to get here but after I have all the hardware put together what do I do next? The first time I turn it on?

I understand I have to download the OS, put the cd that came with the motherboard in and download the software/drivers off that and drivers for the graphics cards. Is there anything else? Do I have to mess with the BIOS? I'm using RAID 1 so when should I set that up?

What order should I do this stuff in? I'm using a SSD to put the OS and other softwareI want to load faster. If I put the drivers on the SSD will it help performance?

My setup:

Solution
First you assemble
Then you go thru the bios settings and configure the settings to what you want. Don't forget the date and time.
Next you run testing software. Intel burnin, prime95, superpi, and memtest. Things like that.
Once its decided its working good then you install windows, drivers, updates, software...
