"Bubbles" screensaver does not show my desktop wallpaper.W8.1

windows 8.1.. I want to use the 'Bubbles" screensaver like I did on my Vista. But it doesn't show my desktop wallpaper? Just has all purple background. I loved the Bubbles because it was transparent. Is this just the way it is on W8.1
