So I have a wireless router in the living room and Im moving all my computers up to my room and the router cannot move. My room is on the second floor and on the other corner of the house and there I get no wifi in my room and for the things that I run on my computers like a database and a teamspeak server so I would not like to have the latencies along with the wifi and is just not a viable solutions for my needs(primarily my room is out of wifi range).
I would like to use ethernet but I not prepared with wiring an ethernet cable through my wall.
There are those in wall solutions were you use the electric wiring in your house and plug in these ethernet blocks things and they act as an ethernet cable. This is what Im talking about http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16833166086
I do believe I have a phonejack somewhere in my room and not sure what I could do with that.
