Hi all,

I just built a computer with the following components:

Motherboard: Asus p8z77-I DELUXE
PSU: 450W Rosewill Capstone
CPU: Intel Core i5-2500k
RAM: 2x4GB G.Skill (F3-12800CL8D-8GBXM)
GPU: EVGA GeForce GTX 750 Ti
HDD: 64GB Crucial M4 SSD, 2x1TB Western Digital Black (RAID 1)
Optical: Asus DRW-24B1ST
Case: Corsair 250D

Everything is working with the exception of the GPU, which doesn't seem to be sending any display output - at least when plugged into the motherboard listed above. I've discerned the following:

- Neither the HDMI nor the DVI ports send any output when plugged into the listed motherboard
- Based on the time I need to hold the power button to force shutoff, the PC appears to fail to POST when the GPU is plugged in and selected as the primary display in the BIOS
- the PCIe slot functions normally when a different graphics card is plugged in
- The listed GPU functions normally when plugged into another computer
- Flashing the most recent BIOS update from Asus' website has no effect

At this point, my tech knowledge is exhausted... Can anyone offer advice regarding how to proceed?

Tried that using all three settings - iGPU uses the integrated display, which sends output. Auto and PCIe use the PCIe slot (if available) and send no output from the card when it is plugged in.

Yessir - probably saved and booted with each setting three times apiece. My guess is that I have either a BIOS-level incompatibility or a power issue. I'm hoping to borrow a stronger PSU to test the latter, but given that I'm already 4/3x recommended wattage it's probably a long shot.
