At the moment I am replacing a lot of stuff inside my old PC case with new gear. I've settled on the following stuff.

Intel 4770K

Asus GTX780

16gb Corsair vengence 1600MHZ

But I'm not sure what mobo to get, whatever I end up buying needs to have at least;
6 USB ports (preferably 3.0)
A wireless card on board
Fairly good on board sound
And be pretty durable overall

At the moment I'm looking at;
Asus z79 deluxe
Asus Maximus VI extreme

While the OC stuff will come in handy I'm not sure if the $500 is worth it for the Maximus even if it has everything I need and more.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

I bought the Asus Z97 Pro. The Deluxe offered way more features than I need, so why pay for those. I still use a Z87 Hero VI. For me, the decision was between the Z97 Hero and Pro. Thus far the Pro has proven to be a great choice and later this week I'll add an i7 4790K and see how things work out.

I would recommend the MSI Z97 MPOWER MAX AC - I am currently testing it with a 4970K ES and I can say that it is a hell of a board with plenty of great features and is solid. I would also recommend that if you can hold off for retail 4970K you will be very pleased. so far I have a rock stable setting of 47x100 @ 1.29v
