What to pick If I dont want to spend extra money for 2-3 less seconds in vegas, adobe, etc or 2-3 fps in games. I5 4690K (203eur) vs I7 4790 (245eur) vs I7 4790k (297eur). mobo: mpower z97 msi.

Solution
If you find a use for the extra threads available on an i7 (like Vegas) then get that. Assuming stock speed and turbo boost is 3.4Ghz and 3.8Ghz you should be able to raise it to or above 4Ghz, but no CPU is the same. Some non-K CPUs will get to 4Ghz, some can get above 4GHz, some will outright crash. Any of the three CPUs will be a good improvement over what you already have. Overclocking isn't the be all, end all of computing.

Assuming both i7s have the same clock and turbo boost speed then they'll perform the same if they're the same generation. You can't just use clock speed to compare CPUs. For example, an i5 2500K at 5Ghz could equal a i5 4670K at 4Ghz.

I don't really understand what you're trying to say. Do you want to spend 250-300 euros on a CPU or not? Standard Intel i7s have hyperthreaded cores, meaning they have 8 different threads vs the 4 on an i5. i7s perform the same as i5s in games so you're not losing anything by going with an i5. For what you want to do I would at least buy the i7 4790, which you can even overclock up to 0.4ghz above the turbo speed (more if you raise voltages). The i7 4790K has no limit on overclocking, bar voltage and heat limits.

the main use is a gaming I think, and ofc overall performance, for example play LoL/cs:go and work in sony vegas at the same time+browsing, I dont really know comparing to my poor dual core 2.7 which one of those cpus will show me a real difference with absolutely no lags. I want this hyperthreading but I dont want to overclock my cpu to incredible 4.7 or more ghz so should I go with 4790 with no K?

Im not a "pro" in these cpus, but i know a bit in this sphere, but Im confused a bit, has i7 4790 the same performance comparing to a i7 4790k with no overclocking ?????
