Hello everyone, I'm building a new pc and I'm wondering if I should build my own water cooling from scratch or just get a water cooling solution that's made by one of the big companies (Corsair, Cooler Master). If I was to get an off the shelf cooling solution, I would get the H100i from Corsair. I don't know which one will have a better effect since if I go for custom water loop, I will want to water cool my cpu (i7 4790k) and my mobo (ROG Maximus Formula). So which one should I pick?

Solution
Thats ok - You'll need:
CPU water block
Pump
Tubing
Barbs or compression fittings (that cost a lot more than barbs)
Radiator(s)
Resevoir
and a GPU block if yu also plan to cool it

All the parts you need can be found at http://www.frozencpu.com

You might not be able to get the best loop out of your budget but you will be able to get a pretty descent loop...

Hope that helps :)

It depends on your budget because off the shelf cooling kits are cheaper and maintenance free but do not provide as much cooling as a custom cooling loop which are more expensive and require a little bit more skill to set up - what is your budget like??
