Im trying to connect my pc to my old tv. the output is mini-hdmi (converted to hdmi with the adapter that came with the graphics card) and the input on the TV is RCA.
The pc is able to detect that the output is there but nothing appears on the TV.
Anyone got any ideas how to fix this?

Current GPU is GeForce 560TI and TV is a Bush CRT but it doesnt display a model number

Solution
You need a tv tuner module that has input hdmi (that runs from your vga) and outputs to scart or rca. The result will be bleary graphics that are not really that bad ingame but ingame text and desktop text will be quite hard to read.
in cases like this it isn't supposed to work, as on a T.V. it may receive the video, but the computer doesn't receive any information back, resulting in no detection of display.

What other inputs does your T.V. have?

T.V.'s now days have their own PC inputs to fix this, and I am not sure if yours has one.

Sadly no it doesn't have one, the only two inputs it has is an RCA on the front and 1 Scart on the back

As I said though the PC does detect the TV is there, just doesn't output anything to it.
