Any answer to the title? some people complained about the MSI GAMING fancy stuff. And btw any ATX Z97 mobo recommendation in the 140$ price bracket is appreciated, as I'd probably go with the Asus for the price but still think that I can workout the MSI price.

The asus board is a lot better, the main difference is that asus has better support, and normally always honors their warranties. Msi has screwed me on about 4 warranties in the past. So aside from the looks and the almost worthless features on the msi board the asus board will overclock just as well thanks to its power delivery design. You also get a lot of features on a board that asus markets as their non gamer boards that most companies would spam it all over their box for a gaming board.
