changed my boot menu one night and now my computer has lost the administrator i keep getting a pop up saying cont

i have lost the whole administrator option on my pc, it will not let me download anything or change anything on my pc, i keep getting a popup saying i dont have privilages to do this contact your administrator....help.....its somthing in the boot menu i have changed, and i also changed my profile to standard and i dont know what to do

Login. Create a new User with administrator privileges. Now login to that new user admin account. Change your old profile that you changed to standard back to administrator. Login to your old account (now admininstrator) and delete the new user you created. Voila!

Press F8 at startup. Select the option Safe mode with command prompt. Then type in the command 'net user administrator /active:yes' without the quotes. This will enable the hidden administrator account. Then you can do change your own account back to an administrator account as JobCreator suggested above.
