The only way to access OC Genie from within Windows that I know of is through the MSI "Command Center" program. I tried OCG last week, just for kicks, and it gave me a nice 4.0 GHz OC. Not much to brag about, but better than nothing and the Vcore was not excessive.
As stated above, going directly through the BIOS is the best method but it can be somewhat intimidating for newbs.
There is also the "in between" method whereby you use MSI-Intel Extreme Tuning Utility (IXTU). You should've received this prog on the CD that come with the mobo. You can also D/L IXTU from your mobo's D/L page on MSI's site.
IXTU provides a convenient way to adjust settings, such as Multipliers and voltages. without having to reboot your system and enter the BIOS. While IXTU doesn't have any "automatic OC" settings, I find it very convenient to make quick changes to my OC settings. IXTU is completely separate from Command Center and OCG.
