low internet speed???

With wifi it´s hard to determine whats the real reason. Can be something blocking the signal strenght, can be antennas pointing the wrong direction on the modem etc.

Try pointing your Modem towards your PC if possible, avoid having signals go through windows, take away equipment that may ruin the connection.

Whats also relevant is the age of the modem, if its getting old the hardware might be failing.
Distance does a huge deal aswell, the distance between the computer and modem cant be to far or you will start dropping data speed.

Also if there is alot of computers/units connected to the wifi they will all share the connection speed so that is also a big factor to account for.

Do some testing by moving around the modem and such and see if you can get better speeds to start with.
