Is placing a sheet of paper below the motherboard in my pc case OK?

I am new to PC builiding and the way I understand it is that if the motherboard comes into contact with the metal of PC case the mobo is fries
Now I have already installed the raisers which came with my case but now am thinking of putting a sheet of paper underneath the motherboard as added security just in case as a result of which my mobo will be in contact with paper all the time.Is this dangerous for the mobo?Thanks in advance for helping

If the metal on the motherboard touches the motherboard tray, an electrical short most likely will occur at some point when the PC is powered on. In most cases, this will not ruin the motherboard altogether, but can.

If you are using the standoffs (raisers), the motherboard won't come in contact with the motherboard tray so you don't need to put paper or anything else behind the motherboard. Make sure you have nine standoffs for a standard ATX motherboard and that the motherboard is screwed into each of the nine standoffs.
