Just got Razer Kraken 7.1 headset and im having some problems after i rebooted my computer.
It is a USB headset. Powered with only USB cable.
Everytime when i hear something, there is also a background static/hiss/buzz. The static level stays the same whatever my audio level is. I do not hear static when there is no audio. When i put my windows audio setting to 80% and up, i can hear a loud static sound even when there is no audio.
I have tried all my usb ports. Every usb port has the same problem. I have tried to use it on another computer, the same problem. Reinstalling audio drivers did not help.
I have been thinking if its a ground loop of somekind or something thats caused by grounding.
My previous headsets, Razer Tiamat 7.1, Razer Carcharias. I had a problem like this on those both. But whats different to Kraken 7.1, the static was there all the time.
Razer Kraken Pro and Razer Megalodon did not have this problem.
I have not made any other hardware changes.
