When I connect my PC to my router the internet stops working for the entire house.

I've been trying to troubleshoot this for a while. The setup we have is a bthub 3 which is wired to a netgear router upstairs, from which we pass Ethernet cables to a couple of computers. However whenever I turn my PC on and it is connected to the netgear router the internet stops working on all devices including wireless, although however VoIP still works. Not sure what the fix is, I have reset all my firewall settings to default on my pc, in case that was the issue as I had a few custom rules, but that didn't seem to help the matter. If anybody has had this problem or knows how to fix this it would be much appreciated as currently I can't use my computer with internet.

Another point I forgot to mention, from time to time even when my pc is connected the internet will work, but rarely if any other users are on it.

  1. Does your PC accidentally have a static IP address that conflicts with the router? What does ipconfig /all say? Is DHCP enabled?

The ipv4 settings are set to automatically acquire the IP address and dhcp mode is enabled.
  3. Do you have DHCP enabled on both the BHub and the Router? If so disable it on the Router
