First time posting here,
SPECS:
Asus P8Z68-V PRO
HD 6970(1x 6pin x1 8pin)
Corsair 850gold (brand new)
16gb Corsair Ram
i7 2600k
windows 7
Basically my problem is that one morning about a week ago i powered on my PC and it would not display, i messed with it abit to no avail, I dug up a super old GPU and put it in and it displayed so i figured that my GPU must be dead, i took my GPU to a my father's house and tested in on his PC, and it displayed. So then i figure that my PSU (XFX850) must be at fault so i ordered a new one, it came today and still the same, i tried my card for a second time in a different PC with the new PSU and it displayed. i then tried a more modern card(HD5850)(x2 6pin) in my PC with the new PSU and it worked, then i tried removing some RAM, all but one 4gb. Still nothing.I tried reseting the BIOS, still nothing. i then booted the computer from the integrated graphics on the MOBO and went into Device manager and there was no Card displayed there.
Im really at a loss here, I've disgust with my father whos a Tech and he doesn't know either,
Any help would be much appreciated.
