NEW Laptop buying confussion

CONFIG 1.

i7 4702 MQ QUAD CORE
NVIDIA 750 2GB DEDICATED 4GB IN SHARING
16GB RAM
240GB SSD

CONFIG 2.

i7 4510U DUAL CORE
NVIDIA 850 4GB DEDICATED
16GB RAM
240GB SSD

Last year I swapped

my i7 4800 with NVIDIA 740 2GB and 8GB RAM to i7 4702 with NVIDIA 750 2GB ,16GB RAM
I feel that my i7 4800 with NVIDIA 740 GB is much faster than the i7 4702 with NVIDIA 750 2GB ,16GB RAM

PLease suggest whether to go for CONFIG 1 or CONFIG 2
Which one t ogive more consideration CPU or GPU

Config 1, quad core is a definant need for games of today. (ok technically it isn't, but having a quad core will make games run a lot more smoothly than a dual core.)

Thank you for the quick reply.
But still confusing because if you see some good gaming rig builds , some recommend i5 processor over i7 quad processors and they ask to spend that saved money on processor for the GPU.

But wondering will config 2 with latest NVIDIA 850 4GB Dedicated GPU will be a good bet for gaming
