First up, quite fast, compared to what? If you're coming off a standard hard disk, pretty much any SSD will make a huge difference.

If you're talking about compared to another SSD, well, that's where stuff can get relatively expensive relatively quickly. Overall, the new Crucial MX100 128GB drive is quite good. Well reviewed. Pretty quick. Good warranty. Very affordable. Currently sitting at about $77.00 USD on NewEgg.com which is right in your ballpark price.
