I was wondering what the top/cheapest RAM for this system would be ... I did some searching and found the following.

MOBO RAM SUPPORTED SPECS:
2x 184-pin DDR DIMM Sockets

Up to 2GB memory Supported

Supports unbuffered pc2700/2100 non-ECC DDR SDRAM memory.

I need a little help finding the best choice via PRICE<- to buy maybe 2GB for a steal. I was thinking 2x1GB sticks at the max for this mobo would be cheap cheap cheap ... but these prices I am finding are to be laughed at....

Selling me outdated ram for 40$ on some sites ... NO THANKS!!!

Looking for a kind soul to maybe shoot me a link from a site like newegg/amazon for 2x1gb supported mem for around 20 bucks at least might pay a lil more for shipping like 25$?

Solution
$19 for a 1GB stick of pc2700, or $17 for a 1gb stick of pc2100 is the best i could find on newegg
Tiger direct was worse.

its also about supply and demand. there's very little demand for the older memory, so sites charge extra for it. You may be able to get some used RAM for less, but then there is no warranty
