I would go for a Noctua Nh-d14 if your going for really extreme air cooling go for a thermalright silver arrow don't go for AIO's till you get to the $100 point because most air coolers that are $40 outperform or are close to the perfomance of lets say $70 AIO's
Basicaly you need a cooler for the AMD AM3+ socket. There are plenty of options. If you plan to overclock you CPU (you didnt mention), the i suggest the Hyper 212Evo cooler
Uh hyper 212 IS NOT a good option any more. You're better off getting a Enermax ets-t40 maybe $10 more than the hyper 212 but has SO much better cooling performance
Hi Sam Frazier-Jenkins
a good choice for a higher overclock and a cooler that is comparable with the nhd14 and will give you no ram interference issues and
is 1mm taller than the evo is the nzxt havik 140 , here is a review https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QuI5NLOpRmo
