I currently run an Intel Pentium (r) E58000 Dual Core Processor @3.2Ghz

How would a GTX 760 TI perform with my Intel CPU? Will it make much of a difference?

I am currently using an Internal GPU, it's the Intel G45/G43.

I plan on building a PC in the future, so it wouldn't affect me too bad if the performance wasn't much of a difference.

More about : cpu good graphics card make games run

Your CPU would heavily bottleneck that GPU. What kind of budget do you have? Your power supply might not handle that GTX 760 either.

Well the core duo will be using its full potential and will try to pull all of the 760 ti performance sadly it won't or i dunno when i got my 770 i though my cpu will bottleneck well it doesn't only the fact that in games it use 100% cpu usage but it drains the gpu power pretty well you can notice that with msi afterburner and see the gpu usage if its 98-100 avg 99 the cpu is taking the power of it but i doubt. For that gpu you need i5 3th or 4th gen so i think it will run but better get a new cpu as fast as you can! And a new mobo ofc

if your power supply is up to snuff and your case/board supports the addition of this gpu then I would say go for it...even if the cpu bottlenecks the card you will still get much much much better performance out of the new card than integrated. Also later on when you do build a new system you could transfer over the video card and use it there

I can upgrade my power supply as well if that is an issue. I have a budget of $200 as of now.

what power supply is in there right now? I would reccommend at least a 500watt unit for a mid range single gpu

What particular model of motherboard do you have?

My motherboard is the Gateway SX2803. Also, now that I opened my case, there isn't much room for a new GPU to fit in snuggly. Just throwing this out there, here's what I want to do, please give me your opinions on what you think I should do.

I plan on: Buying my GPU, Computer Case, and a new PSU. My current one is 220w... so yeah..

Is it possible to transfer my CURRENT motherboard, CPU, disk drive, and hard drive to my new computer case, while I upgrade my CPU slowly?

Yes that's entirely possible. Don't worry about bottleneck if you're going to upgrade the CPU at some point, just think of it as an investment and turn up the details while gaming to get the most out of your new GPU.

I would highly recommend you to upgrade your psu otherwise it won't be able to handle your gpu.
