My Computer's Video Card May Be Failing?

Hi everyone,
I'm currently experiencing some problems with my HP 2000 428-DX Laptop.. or at least more so than usual.
My computer is creating these lines all over my screen, and they go away after a short while. I came across this issue when browsing photos on Facebook (as you can see twice in the photos below), and after some searching on Google, I'm led to believe that my video card may be failing.
However, there haven't been any of the exact problems I've been facing when reading about potential video card failure.
What also leads me to believe a failing video card may be the culprit is: these lines only appear when I'm viewing a photo (I loaded a video on YouTube, the lines pop up there as well)
I figured I'd ask here, as people may know an exact cause.
Some things I was told to look at were: updating my browser. Chrome was up to date. Check if my graphics card (AMD Radeon HD 6310) was running properly. It was.
I'm very curious to know as I am getting another new computer in 2 months and rely on this computer for my work, and need this to run as long as possible.
Thank you so much!
Brendon

Here are some photos to show the lines that pop up from time to time.

How could one do the latter? Clearing my cache didn't solve my problem (although it made my computer a tad faster, so thank you).

Glad its going faster.

The link I provided gives instructions. Need to delete the sites from the storage settings panel. Its hard to say if it will work or not since your having the issue on multiple sites though.

You could also try using different browsers. The thing that gets me is its not messing with your regular windows experience. Just does it watching videos and looking at pictures using the web browser right? Does it also do it using windows media player?

Thanks for helping me narrow that down! Just checked Media Player, looked at YouTube and Facebook using IE8, no issues there.. So it's got to be Chrome. Thanks for the help. I'll at least try to uninstall then reinstall my drivers as a precaution.
