PC won't boot after installing stock CPU fan

Hey guys, I have just put together my own PC.. after tearing my hair out I finally built a new computer with these specs:
Corsair Carbide Series 330R (2 Fans - 140mm front, 120mm rear)
OCZ500SXS - OCZ Technology 500W PSU
MSI Z97 GAMING 5 Motherboard
Intel Core i7 4770K 3.50GHz 8MB Cache
EVGA nVidia GeForce GTX 750Ti FTW 2GB
G.Skill 16GB(2x8GB) DDR3 2400MHz TridentX Memory

However, I am receiving a no signal issue for connection to my TV.. I first had this issue when I installed the graphics card into the PC, the on board graphics worked fine but wouldn't give a signal on the HDMI in the graphics card.
In the end, I changed from the PCI-E slot to another PCI slot and the card worked fine.

I also purchased a Corsair H60 liquid CPU cooler. I was happy with my set up and started gaming. A friend asked today what temps I got with the Corsair and I told him I idled on around 50C. He then told me something was wrong and that he idles on around 8C on his cooler.

I contacted the store I bought the cooler from and they agreed to return it, I uninstalled the cooler and when I came home I put the stock fan that came with the CPU in and connected it to the CPU fan 1 4 pin slot, and reinstalled the rear fan (I previously took it out to fit the CPU cooler in its place)

When I then went to boot my computer back up, I had again no signal, I tried taking the power of both the fans out and booted again, but still no signal. I took the graphics card out and tried to boot from the on board HDMI but still had no signal. I also removed the battery from the board in hopes it might wake it up (Yes I'm a noob at all this) and I still have no signal

Please can somebody help me with this? I'm stressing so much over my rig, I just want to finally join the PC gaming world

Thanks for reading, sorry for the length!

PS, for sound I use a sound bar that is connected to the TV via an optical, I don't actually have PC speakers connected!
