I am building my own computer later this summer and I would like to know if the setup that I have is ok? I have done a lot of research about computers but I just want to double check with some other people to see if my future computer will have any bottle necking issues or how to improve the performance. I am also trying to stay around $2,000.
I just want to know if it is well balanced.

Also sorry if I didn't put this in the right category i'm new.

Hello! Welcome to the Forums!

Your Build seems fine! Except for the motherboard, People are complainging of a Butt-ton of BSOD and such, So, I'd reccommend getting the newer version, The GIGABYTE GA-Z97X-UD5H Instead.

Other then that, You should be fine! You will have no bottlenecking at all As far as i can see.

Have fun gaming with that!

EDIT: Iceblitzed got here before me :bounce:

CPU: I recommend the i7-4790K. It costs slightly more.

CPU Cooler: OK

Motherboard: I recommend a H97 motherboard or Z97 motherboard (for overclocking). These motherboards will be more futureproof

Memory: OK

Storage: I recommend a Crucial MX100 256GB. It costs $80 less than the Samsung Pro. I doubt you will see any real world performance
difference between them

Video Card: Not sure what to say

Case: Not sure what to say

Power supply: Not sure what to say

Optical drive: Not sure what to say.

OS: I recommend Windows 8.1 for better performance. You can make windows 8.1 look like 7 with a program called classic shell @ http://classicshell.net

Monitor: OK
