Hi, I have built my own PC and set up my SSD card first with windows 8, but now I am trying to hook up my HDD for more storage but I am not sure if I need to hook up another cord or something or if I need to do something in my BIOs. I believe I am missing a 6 pin power connector but nothing came in the box..?

sata cable from motherboard and power cable from power supply. boot up. see if it will recognize it at the desktop. start/computer.......... you should see it there along with the C: drive. it will have another letter.
if it's not there try another reboot. I usually hot swap and then reboot.
