Hey guys recently I bought parts to make a new computer. I installed a gigabyte ga-78lmt-usb3mother board and a msi graphics card a corsair cx600m power supply and a AMD processor with a nzxt phantom case. I had problems turning the computer on from the beginning. I tried taking everything out and putting only the motherboard the processor and the graphics card into the power supply and still nothing happened. There was no startup screen. Please help.

The cable that goes to the graphics card should say "PCIe" on the end of the connector. The voltages are typically set to 110 or 220 depending on if you ordered the PSU in...

Use standoffs. Is this your first time building a PC?

Make sure you do not mix up the PCIe power plugs on the PSU. You should also make sure not to mix up the PCIe power rail with the -12v power rail.

There should also be some switches on the PSU. Make sure the power one is on, and the 110v/220v is set for your region.

The cable that goes to the graphics card should say "PCIe" on the end of the connector. The voltages are typically set to 110 or 220 depending on if you ordered the PSU in the US or in Europe.

take a look here:
http://www.corsair.com/en-us/cx-series-cx600m-modular-atx-power-supply-600-watt-80-plus-bronze-certified-modular-psu

The cords that are not modular(detachable) in the picture are the power rails. Make sure neither one of them is plugged into a card. They are the 12v rails for the motherboard.

Now if you find a modular cable that says PCIe, it goes to the graphics card; but you also need to make sure it is plugged into the PCIe slot on the back of the PSU.

If you look under downloads on that link, you can find a cable guide.
