I need help building a PC that is able to run After Effects, Sony Vegas, Hitfilm and that kind of software, and some gaming, im not looking to ultra settings but i want to be able to play games at 60 fps at nice settings like gta v and bf4 and new games. Right now im using a macbook pro and i really need to see the difference, I also used and xbox 360 for gaming but it doesnt work anymore. I hope you can help me. My max budget is $850 dlls, just including keyboard and mouse and software within the budget i dont need any other peripherals. I will not be overclocking and i want to be able to upgrade later. I also wont need a dvd drive and i need to be able to conect to wifi. Im really new i know some things but im not really an expert.
Im buying in USA this week.

3 things that would help but would make you go over your budge though.

1) CPU - i7 would be better. Maybe going with an AMD option like a FX Series might be a little cheaper since AE uses multiple cores
2) Ram - This to me would be the BIG ONE. Roommate does AE and his iMac is maxed out with 32GB of ram and AE will use up over 20GB (But then again we are working with RAW format) But i would def get like 16GB for AE
3) SSD for the OS drive and programs and/or scratch disk. But that only helps with render times and what not.

As it is its not that bad of a machine. It will do what you need it to (Not sure about the 60 FPS on games though) but as far as the editing software it will work just render times will vary depening on what you are rendering.

Here you go:

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant

CPU: Intel Xeon E3-1230 V3 3.3GHz Quad-Core Processor ($249.98 @ SuperBiiz)
Motherboard: ASRock H97 PRO4 ATX LGA1150 Motherboard ($76.66 @ Newegg)
Memory: A-Data XPG V2 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory ($69.99 @ Amazon)
Storage: Seagate Barracuda 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($52.92 @ Amazon)
Video Card: Sapphire Radeon R9 270X 2GB Dual-X Video Card ($188.99 @ SuperBiiz)
Case: Zalman Z12 Plus ATX Mid Tower Case ($54.99 @ Micro Center)
Power Supply: XFX 550W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply ($25.99 @ Newegg)
Optical Drive: Samsung SH-224DB/RSBS DVD/CD Writer ($14.99 @ Newegg)
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 (OEM) (64-bit) ($84.98 @ OutletPC)
Total: $819.49
Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available

It actually comes to about $863, but you can get $55 back with Mail-in rebates. If that's not suitable I can reconfigure it.

The Xeon 1230v3 is the equivalent of an i7 4770 (minus the iGPU) but is quite a bit cheaper. It's 8 threads will be great for the video editing you're looking to do, as well as far more than enough for gaming.

There is some wiggle room if you must change to 16GB of RAM or if you need an SSD. Could always drop to an FX 8320 if you really need to.

Go and read some pcparticker builds that people do, many explain their reasoning for part selection, and it teaches you a ton, so that afterwards you can go a put together a build yourself and be proud of it.
