Blue Screen Of Death Related To USB Flash

I am getting the "blue screen of death" every time I plug in my Seagate 1tb external hard drive. I have been using the external hard drive for about a year and have never had this problem. I also have plugged i the Seagate to a different computer and the problem only exists on my computer.

Try plugging it into a different usb port
or
delete the drive from device manager and say yes when it asks if you want to delete the drivers too. When you plug it in again it will reload the drivers fresh.

Make sure your motherboard drivers are up to date, both for the chipset and for any onboard USB devices.
Visit the motherboard manufacturers website to download these drivers.
