hi I am wondering if anyone has any idea how to have a stable oc on the AMD A-10 5800k. Currently I am running:
AMD-A10 5800k
Msi fm2 a75ma-e35
zalman LQ310 watercooler
G.Skill ripjawz x 1866mhz 8gb RAM

It will vary system by system. Increase the CPU clock multiplier in BIOS a click at a time. Test for stability with AMD Overdrive: http://www.techspot.com/downloads/4645-amd-overdrive.html
...while watching temps. Continue to increase the multi and test until the system is unstable or can't boot to Windows. Then either back off and leave it there... or try increasing the vcore a slight bit and see if that makes it stable. If stable, you may be able to go a bit higher on the multi.

It wouldn't make any difference if they had. Your APU is different than another one of the same kind. So is your MB. A stable OC on one machine may not be stable on yours, and vice versa.

If your RAM can take it, the board will be fine at that speed. But remember, the memory controller is on the APU die. And the memory controller on the A10-5800K is rated at 1866MHZ. So you are already beyond specs.

but if i could get the ram to a stable 2400mhz wouldn't that benefit a lot?
