The Phanteks Enthoo Pro just won case of the year for 2014 at Computex

BR Burners are usually only $10 more so worth considering

Asus Player = $49

Asis BR Burner $59

The Seaonoic X-Series generally garners slightly better build quality ratings from jonnyguru and is cheaper. SuperNova gets 10.0 performance / 9.5 build quality ...X series 10.0 / 10.0

And BTW, 850 watts is more than enough for two 780 Tis .... the X-850 is $154

NViida specifies 850 watts
Guru3D specifies 800 watts
My power meter measures < 700 watts.

A $2k build deserves better than a $30 budget cooler. Grab the Phanteks for $65 and pick up an additional 7 - 10C of cooling.

The MSI 780 Ti has been $600 on newegg every other week for last 6 weeks.....start looking around Thursday

Finally, consider the MSI GD-65...it's a virtual feature for feature match up and down with the Hero, is better reviewed and is $40 cheaper. I love Asus but until the BIOS Clock Freeze thing is fixed, I put a hold on any more builds.

If ya do a web search of RoG forums, there's about a dozen threads on this issue. Asus announced a fix back in August but was only temporary, same with removing / replacing battery ... only temporary. The kast fix was announced in June 11 but teh promised BIOS update that is suppossed to fix it was not available as of yesterday.

If ya can wait, then by all means wait for the fix.... not that I don't trust them at their word but we have seen fixes announced before that just didn't "take". The fact that we still can't get the fix 2 weeks after announcement that it was available has me a little nervous.
