So, the new Intel i7 4790K is coming out, but I might not be able to actually buy one until a couple days after it releases. I've never really paid good attention to what happens to a processor on its first few days of sale, but do they usually go out of stock as soon as they release? Will I have to preorder one in able to actually get one?

It shouldn't go out of stock too soon, since the i5 4690k and the G3258 will probably be more popular (come to think of it the G3258 is already out of stock).Thanks for the help! I have a brand new 4770K that I got from a friend for a nice price, but I didn't realize that the 4790K was coming out so soon. Since the 4770k and the 4790k are essentially the same price, I've been trying to find a way to pawn off this 4770k to get a free upgrade to the 4790k. If I have to end up selling it on ebay or amazon, I'll have to pay about 30 dollars USD for fees, so I tried posting on craigslist and whatnot. What do you guys think is the best way to get rid of this 4770k so I can get an upgrade?

Yes, I wholeheartedly agree, but considering that both are the same price, I can sell the 4770k and get a free upgrade to the 4790k. They're both better than good, but I haven't opened the 4770k yet, so I might as well sell it and get a better one.
