So guys recently built my first computer. YAY! works like a charm thanks to some help from you guys. All games work perfectly only problem I have had so far is running Borderlands 2.
I have everything maxed out and PhysX to high, which gives me roughly about 5-20 fps on 4 player co-op in huge battles. Gets kinda unplayable but I would like to have it on highest settings possible for a stable 20-30. So my question is, am I getting low frames because my computer is just unable to handle PhysX technology, or is it some other options in the settings.

Here are my specs:

CPU: AMD FX-6300 Six-Core Black edition
RAM: 8 gb
GPU: MSI R9 270x

Solution
With an AMD gpu, physx usually fall back to an indecently compatible cpu-based version. I'm afraid you're pretty much locked to low without an Nvidia, although a 280x or higher should be able to handle medium.

I guess I'll try giving it a spin once I'm back home and report the outcome of a 290x, but my hopes aren't high anyway :p

Edit: nvm, just noticed this goes one week back with no useful feedback from op...my bad...
