How to connect multiple switches together in a same network

Lots of newer/better equipped switches will simply allow you to plug a standard network cable between the two switches. Try that first, if the port you plug it into lights up then you're good to go. If not, you'll need a crossover cable.
Just search your IT/tech store (or ebay) for "Network crossover cable", get one at the right length, use that and you'll be good to go.
