In case it helps, using built in sound card on ASRock 870 EXTREME3
I get no sound, then I hear some soft static, then I hear sounds, for at most 10-20 seconds, then back to static (sometimes not), then it's gone again. I've tried using my headsets on both the front panel and rear panel using same hole as speakers(yes, it's the correct hole, green in color), and no sound, although I didn't leave them plugged in long enough to see if I got the same results

So, is my sound card gone?
If not, what other troubleshooting should I do?
If so, can you suggest a sound card?
