Hello friends,

I am stuck with a really weird problem that came upon when I had to lower my budget due to certain problems. Anyway straight to the question :

I am going to assemble a PC with an AMD FX 8350 Processor and an ASUS M5A97 LE R2.0 motherboard and have a 8GB DDR3 RAM. So I want to ask you that, what graphics card and display would go good for it as I only have to play dota 2 at 60 FPS or 120 FPS and make small YT videos of 10 mins max, so there is rendering too and it should not be lagging while I do either of the things not at the same time ofc.

My combined budget for graphics card and the display is 21-22K Rs.

Hope you can help me as I have been stuck with this problem since 2 weeks and I need to decide fast in order to start working before my college starts.

Also, I live in India so please state your helpful suggestions accordingly.

Thank you.

Here is a suggestion to get you rolling:

I recommend you look into reviews of the monitor (e.g http://www.tftcentral.co.uk/reviews/dell_s2440l.htm ) to see if it meets your needs i.e connections etc.. the reasons i picked it is that it's price mean't getting a good GPU to max out DOTA 2 easily & most any other games you...

R9 270X requires 24 Amps on the 12v rail & a 500W PSU minimum

Also requires supplementary 2x 6pin power connectors. Recommended PSU:

Seasonic ECO 500W: http://www.flipkart.com/seasonic-eco-500-watts-psu/p/itmddqq8dzqzkzdy?pid=PSUDDQPPZZYAGRWT&srno=b_23&ref=3b1cedf3-6542-4c5f-8dc6-9ea8080d70e7

p.s FX 8320 is the same as the FX 8350, it's just slightly down clocked, it's not really worth paying a lot more for the 8350.

Thanks for your help and I need to ask you one more thing.

As you said amd fx 8320 is better for its money, can I buy the Asrock 970 extreme 4 motherboard for it and I have planned to buy the corsair V600 PSU.

The FX-8320 or 8350 isn't listed officially on the CPU support list for some reason. So that's disconcerting.
http://www.asrock.com/mb/AMD/970%20Extreme4/?cat=CPU

The Gigabyte 970A-UD3P is very popular at the moment due to it's build quality. So look at that to be sure it will work.

I'm not familiar with the code name, Corsair V600, do you mean the VS or CX series ? if so, they can power it & are alright for a low budget compared to cheap no name brands. But Seasonic are arguably the best PSU manufacturer. If your saving money on the CPU, invest it there IMO.
