I Currently own the MSI B85-G41 PC Mate motherboard and im thinking of replacing it with a
MSI Z97-G55 Sli.
Will i need a windows reinstall?

Depends on What Windows. Just replace the motherboard and update the drivers and see how it goes. You might be asked for a Product Key is all.
