Core i7 965 / X58 system / overclocked to 3.75 GHz / 2x 7970
System Wattage with GPU in FULL Stress ~ 567W or lets just say 600w since the setup isnt actually the same
as said a quality 750w unit is enough. there isnt a point having 1000w or more.

the AX corsair or the leadex platform suggested above is great but seriously EVGA 850w G2 version is best option considering any headroom and the price that its roughly above 100$

How much do you want to spend, Do you plan any upgrades and do you plan to overclock?

I would recommend a 1200Watt or higher to be safe and allow for additions to your PC - http://www.corsair.com/en-au/ax1200i-digital-atx-power-supply-1200-watt-80-plus-platinum-certified-fully-modular-psu

Otherwise something like this - http://www.coolermaster.com/powersupply/enthusiast-v-series/v1000/

or - http://www.coolermaster.com/powersupply/enthusiast-v-series/v1200/

I wouldn't choose an important part like the PSU based on colour, Their are many good and bad brands. I have had my current Corsair AX1200 (Non i version) through 3 builds so far and has never skipped a beat.

You can look online for a Power Supply Generator and it will tell you how much you will need you might be able to get away with a smaller Size PSU..
