I saw these processors (i3 is on sale, normally the 2 cpus are at the same price), and I was wondering which one is better. Also, because I'm on a budget, that is pretty low, I need to run a few months on the integrated gpu
Thx

What is your budget? When would you get the dGPU and what would your budget be then?

I still don't understand how hyperthreading works, in i3's case even though it is a dual-core,it has 2 threads per core, so it works like a quad-core??

Will you be overclocking? Also, I suggest getting the R7 260 instead.

its got 4 threads and two core - the extra two threads make it perform like a quad core rather than a dual core

The CPU or GPU? because if I go with the i3, the cpu is locked

I think I'll go on the i3, lower price ATM, and i get 5 games and a music making software or something like that(Total war rome 2, grid 2, iRacing, Civilization V, World of Ranks RollOut, and the music software : StageLight, so yeah, that's a nice add-on)

The i3-4150 beats the A10-6790K pretty easily in games.

The question was a "if possible" sort of thing

Pity, you'd be able to get much better performance.
