Asus onboard RAM problem I suspect.

Asus X54c laptop. Motherboard has onboard chips(RAM i suspect it as faulty) as shown in image. The Laptop is turning ON but no display. I did not had known before that this laptop has onboard Soldered RAM chips. There is additional RAM slot is there way to make the laptop work.

Not really any permanent fixes, the only thing that you really can do at this point is to easy bake it in the oven for 10 minutes and hope that the solder flows back into place.

No, you need a reflow station, so you will need to do it the redneck way and bake it in the oven

Thanks, Which oven? Home oven? I have to set the oven at what temp? And tutorial? I have seen video before. But commercial oven for reflow which is personally build for this purpose is very costly. I have 5l home oven. But it will bake the plastic parts I think.

You can just go to youtube and look it up, I`ve only done it twice and I can`t remember the temp, and it is just a home oven
