Im running an Aerocool VP 650 right now

Would this Psu be able to support this graphics card with enough power to run properly ? I also have an FX 6300 which i do plan to Overclock to lessen the Bottleneck between the two i will be buying a proper cooler for it.

Solution
the Aerocool VP 650 has 44A on the combined +12v rails and would run your r9 290x
you can buy it if you wish , but as i said it has low grade capacitors , Poor quality capacitors break down quickly over time resulting in spiky voltage being delivered to the motherboard. This results in motherboard breakdown or poor cpu performance.
spending the extra on a quality psu may save you some headaches
