is PCIe 2.0 graphics card compactable with PCIe 3.0 mother board

i am currently using a PCIe 2.0 graphics card i am planing to upgrade my system since i dont do much gaming i plan to stick with my old graphics card Geforce GT 630 is it compactable with PCIe 3.0 motherboard .Do i need to get new graphics card?? Does it effect perfomance???

It will work fine, you don't need to get a new card. Performance-wise your GT 630 will work exactly as it has.

PCIe 2.0 graphics card will run on your mobo having PCIe 3.0. Though you may not get full benefit of PCIe 3.0 slot speed but it will run for sure. No issue there.
